Exactly which cookies and tracking technologies this site uses, what each one does, and how to change your mind at any time.
Last updated: 17 September 2026This document explains how Orbilox operates in plain terms. It is not legal advice. If you need it to satisfy a specific regulator or contract, have a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction review it before you rely on it.
We group what we use into three categories. Only the first is active before you make a choice.
We store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage under the key orbilox-consent. It records which categories you allowed and when, so we do not ask again on every page and so we have a record of your decision. It stays until you clear your browser storage.
Our hosting provider, Vercel, may also set short-lived technical cookies needed to serve and secure the site.
If you allow analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-FQL511P35C) to understand how the site is used in aggregate — which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and where they leave.
Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<container-id>, which typically persist for up to two years. We have configured Google Consent Mode, so before you opt in, Analytics receives no analytics storage permission and does not set these cookies.
We do not use Analytics to identify you personally, and we do not sell this data.
If you allow marketing cookies, we use the Meta Pixel (ID 1326639539311146) to measure the performance of advertising we run on Facebook and Instagram, and to build audiences for those campaigns.
The Meta Pixel sets cookies named _fbp and, where you arrive from a Meta ad, _fbc. These typically persist for up to three months.
We also use Meta's Conversions API, which sends equivalent event information from our server rather than your browser. Because it reports the same identifiers, it is treated as a marketing technology and is subject to the same consent — it does not run unless you allow marketing cookies.
We may use Google Ads conversion measurement to attribute enquiries to paid campaigns, which relies on the same advertising permissions.
Some pages include content from third parties, such as WhatsApp chat links or embedded video. When you interact with that content, the provider may set its own cookies under its own policy. We do not control those cookies.
When you first visit, a banner asks what you want to allow. You can choose to decline everything, allow analytics only, or allow everything. Declining costs you no functionality — the site works identically either way.
To change your mind later, clear your site data for orbilox.com in your browser settings. The banner will reappear on your next visit and you can choose again.
You can also block or delete cookies directly in your browser. Most browsers let you do this per-site under privacy or site settings. Blocking essential storage may mean the cookie banner reappears on every page.
Most browsers also offer a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Where your browser sends a recognised opt-out signal, we treat it as a decision to decline analytics and marketing.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for analytics and marketing cookies, and on legitimate interest for essential storage needed to run the site securely. You may withdraw consent at any time, as described above.
Where the Australian Privacy Act applies, we handle any personal information collected through these technologies in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.
For more on what we collect and how we handle it, see our Privacy Policy.
If we add, remove or change the technologies we use, we will update this page and, where the change is material, ask for your consent again rather than assuming your previous choice still applies.
