Google Ads for Chauffeur & Limousine Companies

Google Ads for chauffeur and limo operators: airport transfer campaigns, call-only ads, value-based bidding and spend protected from wasted clicks.

Chauffeur Google Ads accounts fail in a small number of predictable ways. Broad match eats the budget on searches for taxi fares, rideshare promo codes, driving jobs and bus charters. Every service line sits in one campaign, so a wedding search and a 5am airport run compete for the same budget at the same bid. Conversions are counted as form fills when more than half of real bookings arrive as phone calls. And the account optimises toward cheap conversions, which in this industry means the cheapest possible job rather than the most profitable one.

The economics here reward precision. An airport transfer and a twelve-hour wedding charter can differ by an order of magnitude in value, and a corporate account acquired through a single search can produce bookings for years. An account that treats all conversions as equal will reliably buy you the wrong ones.

We build and run chauffeur paid search around how the business actually earns: campaigns split by service line and value, call tracking treated as a first-class conversion, negatives maintained aggressively, and bidding pointed at booking value rather than lead count.

The problem

What this fixes

Budget consumed by searches that will never book

Without a hard negative keyword discipline, chauffeur accounts bleed into taxi, rideshare, bus charter, driving jobs, car sales and limo hire for sale. These clicks look like traffic and convert at zero.

Phone calls uncounted, so the data is wrong

A large share of chauffeur bookings are calls, often from mobile, often urgent. If calls are not tracked as conversions with a sensible minimum duration, Google is optimising against a fraction of your real results and will systematically favour the wrong keywords.

One campaign for every service line

Airport, corporate, weddings, wine tours and events have different margins, different urgency and different competitors. Pooled into one campaign they share a budget and a bid strategy that cannot be right for all of them.

Ads pointed at the home page

An airport transfer search landing on a general home page has to re-find what it came for. Paid traffic needs a matched page with the quote path for that specific service immediately visible.

Scope

What we actually deliver

Account structure by service line and value

Separate campaigns for airport transfers, corporate and executive, weddings, events, wine and winery tours, and hourly-as-directed. Each gets its own budget, bid strategy, ad copy and landing page, so high-value work is never outbid by high-volume work.

Call-only and call-extension campaigns

Dedicated call-focused campaigns for urgent mobile demand, scheduled to your actual answering hours. There is no point buying a 2am click if nobody picks up — and no point buying a form fill from someone who needs a car in ninety minutes.

Full conversion tracking, calls included

Call tracking with duration thresholds, form conversions, booking-engine events, and offline conversion import where your dispatch or reservation system supports it, so bidding can learn from bookings that actually closed rather than from enquiries.

Value-based bidding

Conversion values assigned per service line from your real average job values, so the account optimises toward revenue rather than toward whichever conversion is cheapest to buy.

Negative keyword programme

A substantial starting negative list for this industry, then ongoing search-term review. This is the single highest-return recurring task in a chauffeur account and the one most commonly neglected.

Matched landing pages

A page per campaign with the service, the coverage area, the vehicle class and the quote or call action above the fold. Built alongside the campaign, not retrofitted.

Geographic and schedule targeting that matches operations

Radius and location targeting set to where you can actually service profitably, bid adjustments for airport corridors and corporate districts, and dayparting aligned to when bookings are taken and answered.

Remarketing and Performance Max where they earn it

Remarketing for longer consideration cycles like weddings and corporate, and Performance Max only with proper exclusions and asset control. We do not hand the whole budget to an automated campaign and call it strategy.

Process

How the engagement runs

STEP 1

Account and economics audit

Review existing campaigns, search terms, conversion setup and wasted spend; establish real average job value by service line. Without the second half, no bidding strategy can be correct.

STEP 2

Rebuild tracking first

Call tracking, form conversions and booking events in place and verified before any spend is restructured. Changing bids on bad data just moves the waste around.

STEP 3

Restructure and launch

Campaigns split by service line, negatives loaded, landing pages matched, budgets allocated by margin rather than evenly.

STEP 4

Optimise weekly

Search-term review, negative additions, bid and budget shifts between service lines, ad copy testing, and landing page iteration based on which pages actually convert calls.

STEP 5

Scale and protect

Expand into adjacent service lines and areas once the core is profitable, and keep the negative and exclusion discipline tight as volume grows.

FAQ

Questions operators ask us

How much should a chauffeur company spend on Google Ads?

It depends on your service area, which service lines you want to compete in, and your average job value. Airport and corporate terms in a major metro cost considerably more per click than a regional market. We size the budget from your job values and target cost per booking rather than quoting a number before seeing either.

Do you charge a percentage of ad spend?

We discuss fee structure during scoping. The important point is that fees and spend are itemised separately and you see the raw platform numbers, so the ad account cost is never bundled into a figure you cannot audit.

Why do we need call tracking?

Because without it the account is optimising on partial data. In this industry calls often outnumber form fills, especially on mobile and especially for urgent airport work. If those calls are invisible to Google, the keywords that drive them will be bid down and eventually turned off.

Can you run Google Ads if we also use brokers?

Yes, and it usually makes the comparison obvious. Once direct cost per booking is measured properly against the effective cost of broker work, most operators shift budget toward direct.

Should we run Meta ads as well?

For weddings, events, wine tours and brand building, paid social earns its place. For same-day airport and corporate demand, search intent is where the booking is. We start where the intent is and add social for the service lines that genuinely benefit.

Who owns the ad account?

You do. We work inside your Google Ads account with managed access. If the engagement ends you keep the account, the history and the conversion data.

What happens to our existing campaigns?

We do not delete history. Existing campaigns are paused or restructured rather than wiped, so learnings and conversion data stay in the account while the new structure takes over.
